Training


We train only one intake per year.
Training begins in early November and runs through to Easter.
Open water assessments continue through the summer and
most of each year's trainees are Sports Divers by midsummer.
 
Training begins in a small hotel pool and progresses
into the deeper leisure centre pool.
 First open water dives are in a local reservoir and finally the open sea.

Currently the membership fee covers training
upto the level of Sports Diver only.
Additional training is available but at extra cost.
