The rib away weekend was particularly good, down at Port Guverne due to the good weather and great vis. Most of us made our way down on the friday night after work, upon arrival at the campsite just a little up the road from the pub we were greated with a smile and a beer from our organiser Alec.
The ever resourceful Mr S had put a few beers in the cooler for some of late arrivals ( thanks mate! ).
Anyway after a short time to freshen up and settle in, the names were taken and the dive plans were drawn up for the mornings diving.
All organized  we  settled down for the night.
Up bright and early we were of to Launch the rib and get ready , the sun was out the sea was blue and it was just great !
A few late arrivals and buddy changes and the first wave of divers were off, diving a wreck to which i cant recall at a depth of about 40 meters ( needless to say i did'nt get a chance to dive that one ), but i was really looking forward to diving the Spene.
Time waits for no-one and soon the first wave had returned with smileing faces and reports of excellent vis and lots of life.
Cant wait now!  kit ready loaded and itching to go.
Camera in hand and were off just a short runout to the Spene, shot in on the nose, buddy check in we are in
( relief ) the heat was getting to me ! ( blistering sunshine lovely but unbearable in full kit ).
We decended down the shot the vis was great and what a lovely wreck, loads of life and a excellent chance for me to get some photos ( by the way they are here).
What more can i say but i enjoyed it that much i dived it again in the afternoon !
