London

SS London 11 was a British cargo steamer built in 1924.
She was 1260grt and powered by a triple expansion engine and driven with a single screw. Her dimensions at time of build in metres were 725x113x42.  She was built in Kiel, Germany by the shipyard of Howaldtswerke A. G.
She was sunk by an air raid on the 22nd of march 1941; at her time of sinking she was owned by ministry of war transport (mowt).
She is quite a compact wreck and as with most wrecks in this area often a dark dive laying in 40m and believed to be sat in orientation of 165°.   She is quite a good dive if wrecks are your thing. As with all wreck dives in the Bristol Channel a torch and DSMB are a must for this one
